Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, led the meeting alongside Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI. The gathering reviewed achievements from the past year and outlined the 2025 strategic work plan. This plan aims to advance the performance of sectoral business groups, fostering growth in private sector companies within Sharjah.

The meeting also explored proposals for 2025 that focus on enhancing service delivery and competitiveness in Sharjah's business environment. These initiatives are expected to yield superior outcomes, contributing positively to the emirate’s economy. Al Owais emphasised that these groups are vital partners in developing the private sector and achieving Sharjah's development goals.

Al Owais highlighted the importance of collaboration with government representatives who are permanent members of Sectoral Business Groups. He stated, "We highly value the collaboration of the sectoral business groups and the proposals and initiatives they offer, which empower the Chamber to continue fulfilling its role in supporting the private sector and promoting Sharjah's business environment, thereby positively impacting the emirate's economy."

The annual meetings with group heads focus on strengthening joint efforts between the Chamber, private sector, and government entities. This collective approach aims to foster growth and prosperity within Sharjah’s business landscape. Continuous communication helps identify opportunities to enhance economic competitiveness.
