Sharjah Award For Educational Excellence Concludes Applications For Its 30th Cycle
The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has concluded the application process for the 30th cycle of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence. Applicants submitted their entries through the award's official website, completing all necessary documentation. The judging panels will now evaluate these submissions based on specific criteria for each category. Results will be announced, followed by a ceremony to honour the winners.
Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA, expressed appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi for his ongoing support of this prestigious award. Al Hosani highlighted that His Highness's backing underscores a commitment to acknowledging exceptional contributions in education. He noted that the award is the oldest of its kind in the nation.

Al Hosani remarked on the increased participation and expanded categories in this cycle, indicating that the award's objectives are being met. It promotes excellence among educators and emphasises knowledge as a key factor in national development. He also commended those involved in organising and judging the award, as well as participants and parents who foster a culture of quality and precision.
Aliya Ibrahim Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence, stated, "We received a large number of submissions from various educational institutions and individuals, reflecting our community's commitment to enhancing the quality of education and academic excellence."
Al Hosani added that the evaluation process will be impartial and based on scientific methods and defined criteria. "We look forward to selecting winners who embody the values of excellence and creativity in the educational field," she said. The award aims to inspire individuals and institutions to showcase their best innovations that contribute to advancing education in the country.
The award features two main categories: distinguished individuals and distinguished institutions. The individual category includes branches such as "Distinguished Teacher," "Distinguished Inclusive Education Teacher," "Distinguished Educational Leader" with subcategories like "Top Leadership" and "Middle Leadership," "Distinguished Student," "Distinguished Student from Special Categories," "Distinguished Support Roles," and "Distinguished Parent."
Categories Reflecting Diverse Achievements
The institutional category covers areas like "Distinguished School," "Distinguished Nurseries," and "Supporting Educational Institutions and Partnerships." Additionally, a special award named "Jewel of the Arabic Language" has been introduced, highlighting His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi's dedication to promoting Arabic language proficiency.
This initiative continues to motivate educational stakeholders to strive for excellence while contributing significantly to improving educational standards across Sharjah.
