SEWA Participates In Fortinet Accelerate25 Conference To Enhance Cybersecurity Strategies

The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) recently participated in the Fortinet Accelerate25 conference in Berlin, Germany. This event was organised by Fortinet, a prominent name in technology solutions and cybersecurity. The conference gathered global experts to discuss security challenges and present innovative solutions for secure digital transformation.

Majid Isa Harimel Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Corporate Support Services at SEWA, highlighted the significance of their involvement in this international conference. He stated that it reflects SEWA's dedication to adopting global best practices and investing in technical expertise to enhance system readiness against evolving cyber threats.

Fatima Ali Asghar, Acting Director of the Information Technology and Communication Department, attended the conference alongside Asma Youssef Al Hosani, Director of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Department. They explored advanced technologies for securing networks and digital infrastructures. The use of artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and reliability was also a key focus.
