SEHA has already taken steps to elevate patient experience, including the establishment of state-of-the-art emergency rooms at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Tawam Hospital. These emergency rooms are equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed by highly qualified professionals, aiming to reduce waiting times and provide rapid and efficient treatment for all emergencies. The expansion of critical services demonstrates SEHA's commitment to delivering the highest standards of emergency care to the community.
SKMC has also made significant progress in pediatric care by opening a dedicated pediatric emergency room. This specialized facility ensures that children receive care in an environment designed to meet their unique needs. Equipped with pediatric medical equipment and managed by specialists in pediatric emergency medicine, this initiative highlights SEHA's dedication to providing compassionate and specialized care to its youngest patients.
To enhance accessibility, SEHA now allows patients to book appointments through WhatsApp and has introduced evening and weekend clinics across several locations. These clinics offer flexible healthcare solutions, making it easier for patients to access medical services outside of traditional working hours. This initiative aligns with SEHA's commitment to accommodating the diverse needs of the population and ensuring that quality healthcare is available whenever it is needed.
SEHA serves millions of patients annually and is committed to enhancing patient-centric experiences and promoting community health. Through public health campaigns, free screening programs, and educational workshops, SEHA actively promotes wellness, disease prevention, and healthy living. By empowering individuals to take charge of their health, SEHA plays a crucial role in improving the overall well-being of the Abu Dhabi community.
