SEE Holding And Micropolis Collaborate To Enhance Sustainable City 2.0 With AI Technology

SEE Holding, known for its focus on sustainability, has partnered with Micropolis. This UAE-based firm is known for its expertise in robotics and AI systems. The collaboration aims to speed up the integration of smart infrastructure within The Sustainable City 2.0 (TSC 2.0). This new model by SEE Holding is designed to be AI-driven, net zero, and focused on human needs.

Earlier this month, TSC 2.0 was introduced as an evolution of SEE Holding’s sustainable city model. It incorporates artificial intelligence and smart technologies to enable real-time resource optimisation. This intelligent system boosts efficiency in areas like food security, energy, water, waste management, and mobility while promoting health, education, and innovation.

Partnership for Sustainable City 2.0 with AI

The partnership combines The Sustainable City's vision for net zero living with Micropolis's technological skills. These include advanced robotics platforms, AI surveillance systems, smart mobility applications, and edge computing nodes. This collaboration aims to enhance safety and optimise operations across SEE Holding’s sustainable cities portfolio.

Faris Saeed, Chairman and CEO of SEE Holding, stated: "With The Sustainable City 2.0, we are building an urban blueprint for a more intelligent, climate-resilient future." He added that the partnership with Micropolis will enable seamless AI integration at the infrastructure level to create smarter cities that meet current and future needs.

Fareed Aljawhari, CEO of Micropolis Holding Co., expressed pride in expanding their partnership globally through TSC 2.0. He said: "The Sustainable City gave us a real environment to test and refine our technologies." Their collaboration has been crucial in developing their robotics platforms into their current form.

For over ten years, The Sustainable City has set a global benchmark for climate-resilient urban living. It achieved a 78% reduction in emissions and diverted 89% of landfill waste in Dubai. Known as the GCC’s happiest community, this model has expanded regionally. TSC 2.0 now extends this vision further as an AI-powered blueprint for future cities.

This strategic alliance aims to deliver cutting-edge automation tailored for tomorrow's cities. By integrating intelligent infrastructure into urban planning, it seeks to elevate the resident experience while ensuring operational efficiency across various sectors.
