This event, taking place from 19th to 22nd May at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). It aims to boost industrial growth and support economic diversification efforts across the UAE.
SEDD's involvement underscores Sharjah's commitment to enhancing its investment landscape. The emirate aims to attract quality investments by showcasing its initiatives that support national industries and emerging companies. This aligns with Sharjah's strategy to improve competitiveness and draw significant investments.

The forum saw a notable turnout of investors, business leaders, and manufacturers at the Sharjah platform. SEDD highlighted key investment opportunities within vital industrial sectors. They also presented streamlined procedures for registering and licensing economic activities, alongside technical and financial support programs for both SMEs and large corporations.
Hamad Ali Abdulla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman, commented on this participation: "Sharjah possesses a solid industrial infrastructure, a flexible judicial system, and outstanding logistical capabilities that make it a prime destination for investors in the industrial sector." He emphasised that this event reaffirms Sharjah's dedication to achieving UAE’s Industrial Vision 2030.
The SEDD delegation engaged in various dialogue sessions and panel discussions. These focused on the future of industry in the UAE and explored how special economic zones can aid industrial transformation and local supply chain development. Such interactions are crucial for exchanging expertise and building partnerships.
Khalid Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director of Industrial Affairs Department, noted that their participation aims to highlight Sharjah's promising industrial potential. He stated that promoting a supportive environment through economic facilities, incentives, and advanced infrastructure is key to attracting investors.
Driving Industrial Growth
Al Suwaidi further stressed that SEDD seeks new cooperation avenues with diverse industrial entities through this forum. This effort aligns with achieving the National Industrial Strategy's objectives while driving sustainable economic growth within the country.
