Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2025 Launches Tomorrow In Dubai
The Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2025 is set to begin its second round at Al Nasr Club in Dubai. This event, focusing on the No-Gi division, will see athletes from various clubs and academies across the nation competing. The championship serves as a crucial platform for nurturing champions and promoting the sport's growth.
The competition will take place over two days, from February 8-9. On the first day, athletes in the U12, U14, and U16 categories will compete. The second day will feature participants in the U18, Adults, and Masters categories. This setup aims to maintain the championship's reputation as a leading event that gathers top local professionals while preparing future champions.

Mubarak Saleh Al-Menhali, Director of the Technical Department at the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, highlighted the championship's role in athlete development. He stated that it serves as a model for preparing athletes for both local and international competitions. "The wide participation of athletes and clubs in the No-Gi competitions reflects the growth of jiu-jitsu in the country and the widespread interest across all categories," he said.
Al-Menhali further explained that this event not only hones emerging talents but also allows athletes of all levels to test their strategies and enhance their skills. This competitive environment strengthens the competition and improves its technical aspects. The No-Gi format presents a unique challenge by requiring athletes to adapt to a different rhythm that prioritises skill, flexibility, and speed over traditional control methods.
The championship also plays an essential role in fostering community cohesion and promoting sports as a lifestyle. It brings together athletes and their families in an enthusiastic atmosphere filled with interaction. This contributes to a vibrant sports environment that encourages new generations to engage in sports activities.
The event offers an ideal platform for athletes at all levels to gain new experiences and improve their abilities. Whether they are beginners or already among the top jiu-jitsu stars in the country, participants can benefit from this opportunity to refine their skills.
This championship not only enhances individual athletic prowess but also strengthens community bonds through shared enthusiasm for sports. By providing such opportunities, it inspires more people to embrace sports as part of their daily lives.
