SeaWorld Abu Dhabi Enhances Marine Education

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is committed to sustainability through its Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Centre. This centre plays a crucial role in marine wildlife rehabilitation and environmental research. Carlos Rodriguez, Deputy General Manager of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, stated that recent experiences have been remarkable for visitors. He emphasised the centre's importance in protecting regional marine life, providing specialised care for injured animals, and supporting environmental research projects.

The park plans to deepen collaboration with academic and community institutions by launching environmental education initiatives tailored for students. These include workshops, scientific projects, and guided learning tours that promote direct interaction with marine animals. The aim is to foster understanding of ecosystems' delicate balance.

Sheikha Aisha Al-Qassimi, Education Instructor at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi's Zoological/Education Department, explained that the park offers a distinctive journey through eight immersive marine realms. These include Abu Dhabi Ocean, Endless Ocean, and Polar Ocean. Guests can explore diverse marine ecosystems from the Arabian Gulf's warm waters to polar habitats of walruses and penguins.
