Saudi Arabia Praises Arab Nations For Rejecting Netanyahu's Remarks On Palestinian Displacement
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed gratitude to the supportive countries that condemned Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks about displacing Palestinians. The Kingdom highlighted the importance of the Palestinian issue for Arab and Muslim nations. This stance underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to addressing the ongoing challenges faced by Palestinians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia firmly rejected Netanyahu's statements, which they believe aim to distract from Israel's ongoing actions against Palestinians in Gaza. These actions include alleged ethnic cleansing, which the Kingdom strongly opposes. The ministry emphasised the need to focus on these critical issues rather than divisive rhetoric.

Saudi Arabia pointed out that the mentality behind such statements fails to recognise the deep emotional, historical, and legal ties Palestinians have with their land. The Kingdom criticised this mindset for not acknowledging Palestinians' right to live on their land. It highlighted the severe impact on Gaza, where over 160,000 people, mainly women and children, have been affected.
The Kingdom stressed that Palestinians are rightful inhabitants of their land and should not be treated as outsiders who can be expelled at will. This perspective highlights the ongoing struggle for Palestinian rights and sovereignty in their homeland.
Saudi Arabia noted that those promoting extremist views have hindered Israel from embracing peace by rejecting coexistence and Arab peace initiatives. This has perpetuated injustice towards Palestinians for over 75 years, disregarding truth, justice, and international law principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.
The Kingdom reaffirmed its belief that Palestinian rights are undeniable and cannot be taken away regardless of time. It stressed that lasting peace requires a return to rationality and acceptance of peaceful coexistence through a two-state solution.
Saudi Arabia remains committed to advocating for Palestinian rights and emphasises that genuine peace can only be achieved by recognising these rights and pursuing a fair resolution based on mutual respect and understanding.
