SAP Joins Jahiz Platform As Knowledge Partner To Enhance Future Skills Development In UAE Government

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has partnered with SAP, a global technology leader, to enhance the "Jahiz for the Future of Government Talents" initiative. This collaboration aims to boost skills development through a digital platform. Launched in late 2022, "Jahiz" is the UAE's largest national project focused on preparing government employees for future challenges.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), SAP will provide specialised content that focuses on sustainability and emerging technologies. This partnership enriches the Jahiz platform with high-quality academic and professional resources. The goal is to equip UAE government employees with skills that align with future demands.

SAP Partners with Jahiz for Future Skills

Faisal Binbuti AL Mheiri, Director-General of FAHR, and Marwan Zeineddine, SAP UAE Managing Director, represented their organisations at the MoU signing ceremony. Senior officials from both parties attended the event. SAP joins other global knowledge partners in supporting Jahiz by offering curated learning pathways and recorded programmes.

The content provided by SAP will focus on sustainability skills for federal government employees. It will highlight how governments can implement sustainability strategies effectively. The use of advanced technologies will be showcased as a means to achieve strategic sustainability goals.

AL Mheiri praised SAP's involvement, describing it as a significant enhancement to the Jahiz platform. He noted that this partnership would offer unique educational programmes featuring cutting-edge technologies and sustainable business practices. These resources aim to improve product innovation processes and customer experiences while aligning with institutional transformation efforts.

SAP's Managing Director Zeineddine expressed pride in collaborating with FAHR through the "Jahiz" platform. He stressed the importance of continuous learning opportunities for government professionals. Zeineddine reiterated SAP's belief in a holistic approach to sustainability that balances economic, social, and environmental aspects for long-term well-being.

Future-Ready Workforce

FAHR recently launched the second edition of the "Jahiz" platform, reinforcing its role as a key government initiative for future readiness. Alongside this, FAHR introduced the "Jahiz" smart application (Jahiz Future Talents), which offers mobile access to skills development resources on demand.

This initiative supports the government's vision of fostering a culture of continuous learning and upskilling among public sector employees. It also aims to promote innovation and excellence in public sector performance, ensuring that entities and their workforces are prepared for future challenges.

The collaboration between FAHR and SAP represents a strategic effort to enhance government capabilities through education and technology. By focusing on sustainability and emerging technologies, this partnership aims to equip UAE government employees with essential skills for future success.
