Sandooq Al Watan, in partnership with the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA), has unveiled the third edition of the Financial Markets Pioneers programme. Scheduled from 3rd to 21st November, this initiative will involve 33 Emirati participants in a rigorous training course designed to prepare them for leadership roles in the UAE's financial sector.
The programme is conducted under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of Sandooq Al Watan. It aims to equip participants with essential knowledge in investment, trading fundamentals, risk management, financial derivatives, Islamic finance, sustainable finance, and financial regulations. The curriculum combines theoretical and practical learning delivered by experts using modern global methodologies.

Sheikh Nahyan emphasised that empowering Emirati youth is a core priority for Sandooq Al Watan. He stated that this programme is a significant step towards preparing young Emiratis for leadership roles in the financial sector while expanding their opportunities both locally and internationally. The initiative aligns with Sandooq Al Watan's vision of building a strong national identity based on empowerment and productivity.
He praised the strategic partnership with SCA, highlighting its crucial role in ensuring that the programme meets its objectives of training Emirati talent to international standards. Sheikh Nahyan also noted that Sandooq Al Watan continues to support Emirati youth across various sectors in line with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision of citizen empowerment.
The launch of this edition reaffirms the success of the programme, which began as a strategic collaboration between SCA, Sandooq Al Watan, and ADGM Academy. Since November 2023, more than 58 Emiratis from public and private institutions have graduated from previous editions. The high demand for participation highlights its importance in enhancing youth competencies in the financial sector.
Sheikh Nahyan commended the efforts of SCA and ADGM Academy in designing this specialised programme. Feedback from past participants has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding its comprehensive approach to building necessary skills for success in financial markets.
Sandooq Al Watan collaborates with diverse partners to enhance Emirati capabilities through local and international training opportunities. This initiative fosters creativity across scientific, economic, cultural, and artistic disciplines while strengthening national identity among future generations.
