Sanad And GE Aerospace Collaborate To Develop Future Aerospace Talent In The UAE

Sanad, a key player in aerospace engineering and leasing, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GE Aerospace. This agreement was signed during the "Make it in the Emirates" event in Abu Dhabi. The partnership, which began in 2013, now aims to enhance human capital through innovative training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

With the global demand for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) professionals expected to hit $169 billion by 2037, this collaboration seeks to bolster the UAE’s talent pool. Sanad and GE Aerospace plan to offer technical training, job placements, and digital learning programs to prepare future aerospace experts. This initiative is designed to strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a global aerospace hub.

Mansoor Janahi, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sanad, emphasised the importance of human capital. He stated, "At Sanad, human capital is our most valuable asset. Our partnership with GE Aerospace enables us to combine Sanad’s industry insight with GE’s world-renowned training capabilities. Sanad stands out as the sole GEnx overhaul provider in the Middle East under a long-term agreement until 2034. Over five years, they have completed over 250 engine inductions. This new MoU marks a significant milestone for both parties.

The collaboration underscores both organisations' dedication to operational excellence and technical innovation. It also highlights their commitment to sustained growth within the region's aerospace sector. By combining resources and expertise, they aim to foster a skilled workforce ready for future challenges.
