Batch 7 Finalists Announced For The Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator Program
In a significant development for the startup ecosystem in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), the multi-stage venture capital firm 500 Global, in collaboration with Sanabil Investments, a financial investment company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), has announced the finalists of the seventh batch of their Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator Program. Aimed at fostering growth and scalability among emerging companies in the region, this initiative has selected twelve companies from a pool of approximately 400 applicants, showcasing a diverse range of innovations across sectors such as Fintech, Foodtech, SaaS, ML & Software, E-Commerce, AgTech, AdTech, and Proptech. The majority of these applicants hail from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt, highlighting the program's broad appeal and reach.
The Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator Program is designed to provide essential support to pre-seed and seed-stage startups across MENA, offering them a solid foundation to validate and expand their operations both regionally and globally. To date, seventy-seven companies have successfully graduated from the program, underlining its effectiveness in nurturing startup growth.

Amal Dokhan, Managing Partner at 500 Global MENA, expressed enthusiasm about the latest batch, remarking on the maturity and diversity of the startups and the interest they have garnered from international investors. "We are privileged to be contributing significantly to the development of this ecosystem," Dokhan added, emphasizing the global platform's role in this vibrant era for the region.
A Sanabil spokesperson highlighted the competitive nature of the program, noting that the finalists represent a wide array of sectors. "We believe the program will help shape their entrepreneurial journey," the spokesperson said, reaffirming their commitment to guiding the startups towards validating their product and profitability.
The 12-week accelerator program offers participants personalized mentorship focused on business strategy, fundraising, and growth. It will culminate in a Demo Day on May 29, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. This event, set to be attended by venture community members, corporates, and industry professionals, will also be live-streamed on YouTube, allowing a global audience to witness the innovative solutions presented by the startups.
The following startups have been selected for the final round of Batch 7: - Agile Loop (Saudi Arabia): Develop a self-learning AI for task automation. - Comfi (UAE): Offers financial flexibility to B2B suppliers and their buyers. - Desert Farms (USA): Provides a D2C baby formula made from Camel Milk. - Doos (Saudi Arabia): A lifestyle app promising premium delivery services. - Fai (Saudi Arabia): Automates tax management for SMEs and individuals. - Metric (UAE): A financial analytics app that organizes scattered financial data. - MLNetworks (Morocco): Enhances Telco network design and operation through data. - Octa (UAE): Simplifies the B2B invoice collection process. - Poultry Sync (UAE): An AI platform for poultry producers to ensure safety and profitability. - Reno (UAE): A digital platform for simplifying home renovation projects. - Sav (UAE): Promotes smarter consumer spending and saving through gamification. - Sweply (Saudi Arabia): Streamlines digital marketing across multiple platforms.
