The Chairman received a briefing on four major themes: digital experiences, environmental sustainability, smart cities, and humanity. He explored solutions showcasing how government entities collaborate using AI and data connectivity to provide efficient services that meet societal needs while enhancing quality of life.

During his visit, Sheikh Dr Salem learned about the "Digital Experiences" system. The Sharjah Digital Department demonstrated the "Sharjah Digital Assistant" initiative. This interactive assistant uses text and voice to allow users to access information and conduct transactions effortlessly in real time.

The "Sharjah Digital Hackathon" was another highlight. Organised by the Sharjah Digital Department with Rubu' Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators and the Sharjah Youth Council, it promotes government innovation. The programme strengthens Sharjah's role in developing smart cities by enabling youth and experts to create AI-powered solutions for infrastructure.

Sheikh Dr Salem also visited the "Aqari" project. This centralised digital platform for real estate services in Sharjah allows institutions to offer services through a unified gateway. It ensures accurate real estate data, enhances user experience, and provides decision-makers with a comprehensive view of the property market.

AI Integration in Government Services

The Chairman explored "Nabni," a platform connecting municipalities to simplify construction procedures using AI technologies. It offers services like contractor classification, building permits, inspections, maintenance, demolition, and other engineering permissions.

He also examined the "Virtual Assistant for Sharjah Government Employees." This initiative aims to integrate AI capabilities into employees' work environments to increase efficiency and save time. The assistant unifies various government agencies for automatic responses and user authorisation.

Sharjah's Vision for Digital Governance

The pavilion featured 20 government institutions demonstrating new services aimed at enhancing customer experience through advanced technologies. Sharjah stands as a model for digital governance regionally and globally by emphasising technology's positive impact based on human values.

The event underscored Sharjah's commitment to sustainable innovation and confirmed its status as a hub for digital excellence. Sheikh Dr Salem listened to an overview of innovative projects presented by participating entities aiming to improve digital integration across the emirate.
