Sajaya Young Ladies Of Sharjah Launches Summer Programme For Over 700 Girls Starting July 5, 2025

Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, part of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, has introduced its summer programme titled "Summer with Us." Scheduled from 5 July to 2 August 2025, this initiative aims to engage over 700 girls from various parts of Sharjah. The programme offers a mix of entertainment and education through workshops in arts, sports, technology, cooking, life skills, and entrepreneurship.

Sheikha Al Shamsi, Director of Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, stated that the programme is designed to utilise the summer break for skill-building and talent nurturing. She said, "At Sajaya, we believe in the importance of investing the summer break in building skills and nurturing talents. The summer programme reflects our vision of empowering girls through inspiring experiences that shape their character, enrich their awareness, and enhance their creative and social abilities within a safe and motivating environment."

Sajaya Launches Summer Programme for Girls

The programme will take place at Sajaya centres throughout Sharjah, including locations such as Kalba, Khorfakkan, Al Dhaid, Mleiha, Al Kharous, Al Madam, and Al Thamid. This wide coverage ensures accessibility for participants across the emirate. Activities are organised with partners like Sharjah Ladies Club in Al Dhaid and Al Madam and the Children’s Centre in Dibba Al Hisn.

In collaboration with several institutions such as the Sharjah Art Foundation in Al Hamriyah studios, the programme promises a comprehensive experience. Girls from the "Friends of the Police" initiative will also join to enhance leadership and social skills through interactive sessions.

Participants will have opportunities to display and sell their projects at market stalls during the event. This aspect encourages economic empowerment by fostering entrepreneurial spirit among young girls. The inclusion of these stalls aims to inspire initiative-taking among participants.

Strategic partners like Sharjah Police and the Sharjah Sports Council are crucial supporters of this initiative. They provide transportation services to ensure all attendees can participate safely and conveniently.

The programme's diverse offerings reflect its commitment to enriching participants' experiences while promoting personal growth. By blending learning with fun activities, it aims to nurture creativity and social skills in a supportive environment.
