SAIF Zone Highlights Gold Investment Opportunities At Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2025
The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) took part in the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2025, a major event in Asia's jewellery industry. Held from September 17th to 21st at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, it featured over 3,000 top exhibitors from around the world.
SAIF Zone aimed to showcase Sharjah as a leading destination for gold and jewellery investments. The Authority presented its top-notch infrastructure, specialised services, and investment solutions. It highlighted the vast opportunities within Sharjah’s flourishing gold and jewellery sector.

During the exhibition, SAIF Zone emphasised its competitive advantages for companies in the gold, jewellery, and gemstone industries. This was particularly through its Gold, Diamonds and Commodities Park. This park is recognised as one of the largest centres for gold refineries in the GCC.
The park hosts over 55 gold refineries and more than 250 regional and international firms specialising in manufacturing and trading precious metals like gold, platinum, silver, and titanium. This makes it a significant hub for these industries.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone, stated that their participation aligns with their commitment to enhancing their presence at top global industry platforms. He noted that they aimed to display advanced infrastructure and world-class facilities available to investors in the sector.
Al Mazrouei also mentioned that the fair provided an excellent opportunity to interact directly with key stakeholders. Through meetings with industry leaders at their exhibition platform, they could present new investment opportunities and foster partnerships with regional and international companies.
Strengthening Sharjah's Position
The efforts were directed towards attracting substantial capital investments to boost growth in Sharjah’s jewellery trade. These initiatives aim to solidify Sharjah's status as a regional hub for the industry.
The exhibition served as a platform for SAIF Zone to reinforce its role as a premier regional hub for global leaders in precious metals. The focus was on showcasing their Gold, Diamonds and Commodities Park as a central point for industry excellence.
This strategic participation underscores SAIF Zone’s dedication to promoting Sharjah’s potential as an investment destination. By engaging with prominent stakeholders, they seek to enhance growth prospects within the emirate's thriving jewellery sector.
