Saif Bin Zayed Attends Graduation Ceremony For Specialised Child Protection Programme In Moscow
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, was present at the graduation of the Specialised Child Protection Programme. This event, organised by the UAE Ministry of Interior alongside Russia's National Centre for Missing and Abused Children, took place in Moscow. It highlights ongoing collaboration between the UAE and Russia to share expertise and improve community safety.
The programme is overseen by the Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center. It aims to enhance skills among child protection professionals. By leveraging the UAE’s advanced legislative framework and technology, it seeks to create a safer environment for children amid rapid technological changes.

This initiative is designed to develop a specialised workforce capable of effectively managing child abuse reports. It aims to refine practitioners' skills, empower specialists in supporting child victims, and advance investigative techniques. The curriculum draws from the UAE’s leading practices in child protection.
The programme covered various subjects related to child protection. Topics included interviewing techniques, assessment principles, preventive and responsive protection mechanisms, legal frameworks, and other specialised areas focused on safeguarding children’s well-being.
Senior officials from both nations attended the ceremony. Notable attendees included Alexander Kurenkov, Russia's Minister of Emergency Situations; Elena Milskaya, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of Russia's National Center for Missing and Abused Children; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili from the UAE Ministry of Interior; along with other senior officials and officers.
The programme targeted social workers in child protection and law enforcement personnel. Participants included specialists from Russia's National Center for Missing and Abused Children, Russian Ministry of Interior members, and experts from the UAE Ministry of Interior.
