Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Leads Happiness And Positivity Council Meeting To Enhance Community Well-Being
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, led a meeting of the Ministry of Interior’s Happiness and Positivity Council at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The gathering focused on various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing institutional work and improving readiness across all ministry sectors.
The Council examined several traffic indicators, highlighting the UAE's significant achievement in traffic safety. The country is now among the top four globally for traffic safety indicators per 100,000 people. This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of traffic policies and the nation's comprehensive efforts to safeguard lives and elevate its status in road security.
Key discussions during the meeting included reviewing main indicators, targets, and plans from the Ministry’s primary sectors. Strategic projects aimed at boosting security, enhancing traffic safety, strengthening community prevention measures, and contributing to overall well-being were also addressed.
These initiatives align with the Ministry's mission to improve quality of life by fostering a safe, secure, and positive environment for Emirati society. This mission is guided by the directives of wise leadership and aligns with the UAE’s forward-thinking vision.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials including Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Lt. General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Chief of Dubai Police; Lt. General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Chief of Dubai Civil Defence; Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaytoun Al Mehairi, Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; Major General Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Support Services; Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Saeed Tuwair Al Suwaidi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior; along with other senior officers who are members of the Council.
