Rwandan Government Delegation Explores Economic Development Through SAMG Projects In Sharjah

An official delegation from Rwanda visited several projects linked to Sharjah Asset Management Group (SAMG), the investment branch of the Sharjah government. The visit aimed to learn from SAMG's successful initiatives, which focus on boosting economic and social growth and promoting a sustainable economy in Sharjah. The delegation explored Souq Al Haraj, Victoria International School (Al Tilal Branch), and the French International School.

The tour commenced at Souq Al Haraj, where Saeed Al Suwaidi, Senior Manager, welcomed the visitors. He explained how Souq Al Haraj serves as a key hub for buying and selling cars in Sharjah and the region. The market offers a well-organised and secure commercial setting, catering to traders, shoppers, and car enthusiasts alike. This contributes significantly to the car trade sector and stimulates economic activity in Sharjah.

Next on the itinerary was Victoria International School's Tilal Branch. Dean Bayrah, CEO of the schools, provided insights into the school's modern facilities and educational system. The curriculum is designed to enhance students' skills through innovative teaching methods. Bayrah highlighted various educational programmes and activities that support effective learning.

The final stop was at the French School in Sharjah. Here, the delegation received an overview of the school's classrooms and facilities that aid teaching and learning processes. The school also features dedicated spaces for sports and artistic activities, enriching students' educational experiences.

This visit underscores Rwanda's interest in adopting successful models from SAMG to foster similar developments back home. By observing these projects, Rwanda aims to implement strategies that will drive its own economic growth while enhancing educational standards.
