Ru’ya Careers 2025 Kicks Off Tomorrow At Dubai World Trade Centre For Emirati Job Seekers
The 24th edition of Ru’ya, Careers UAE, is set to commence at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This three-day event will feature 180 organisations from both public and private sectors. It aims to provide Emiratis with direct access to job opportunities, workshops, and skill development experiences tailored for future work environments.
Ru’ya plays a significant role in the UAE's Emiratisation strategy and youth empowerment initiatives. The event aligns with national goals, such as achieving 8% Emiratisation in the private sector by 2025. As of June this year, 125,000 Nationals are already employed in the private sector. Last year, Ru’ya hosted 150 exhibitors and facilitated 7,000 on-site interviews.

This year's attendees will have the chance to connect with top employers like DEWA, RTA, HQ Police, ADCB, Amazon, PwC, Emirates, and Majid Al Futtaim. The event collaborates closely with government bodies such as the Dubai Government Human Resources Department and the Ministry of Education. This ensures that every aspect of the programme supports national talent strategies effectively.
Asma Al Sharif from Dubai World Trade Centre expressed commitment to supporting Emirati talent through Ru’ya. She stated: "As we open the doors to another exciting edition of Ru’ya, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting Emirati talent as they chart their future. This platform continues to grow in impact and relevance, offering thousands of job opportunities while equipping Nationals with the confidence, tools, and connections needed to thrive."
DP World GCC’s Marwan Al Jassmi highlighted Ru’ya's importance for engaging with young Emirati talent. He said: "At DP World, we see Ru’ya as a vital platform to engage directly with the next generation of Emirati talent. As Platinum Sponsor, we are committed to supporting the UAE’s vision by creating meaningful opportunities for Nationals across logistics, technology, and trade."
Bikram Walia from Amazon Middle East and Africa shared similar sentiments about participating in Ru'ya 2025: "Amazon is proud to participate in Ru'ya 2025... Our comprehensive development programs and mentorship opportunities are designed to empower Emirati professionals at every stage of their career." He emphasised Amazon's role in building future leaders and supporting the UAE's digital economy agenda.
Workshops and Skill Development
Over three days at Ru’ya, participants will engage in workshops focused on AI innovation challenges and coding. These activities aim to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills among school students, university graduates, and job seekers alike.
The event extends gratitude towards its sponsors: DP World as Platinum Sponsor; Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) as Gold Sponsor; Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) as Silver Sponsor.
Ru’ya continues its mission by providing meaningful employment pathways for promising talents across various stages of their careers.
