Umm Al Qaiwain And Ras Al Khaimah Rulers Pay Respects At Funeral Prayer For Sheikha Hassa
Sheikha Hassa bint Hamid bin Abdulrahman Al-Shamsi, the mother of the Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, has passed away. Several dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla and other prominent figures from the UAE, attended her funeral prayer. The ceremony was held today, marking a significant moment for the family and community.
Condolences for Sheikha Hassa will be received at the Ruler’s Court in Umm Al Qaiwain. His Highness will accept condolences starting today after Asr prayer. The sessions will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, both in the morning from 9:00 AM until Dhuhr prayer and in the evening from after Asr prayer until Isha prayer.
The funeral was attended by several key figures. Among them were H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Sharjah; and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman. Their presence highlighted the importance of this event within the UAE.
In addition to these leaders, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, also participated in the funeral prayers. Many Sheikhs, officials, Emiratis, and residents joined to pay their respects to Sheikha Hassa bint Hamid bin Abdulrahman Al-Shamsi.
Women can offer their condolences at the Majlis of H.H. the Ruler’s Palace starting today after Asr prayer. This arrangement is available on Tuesday and Wednesday as well, with timings set from 9:00 AM until Dhuhr prayer in the morning and from after Asr prayer until Isha prayer in the evening.
The passing of Sheikha Hassa bint Hamid bin Abdulrahman Al-Shamsi has brought together many influential figures to honour her memory. The gathering underscores her significance within her family and community.
