RTA Invites Participation In 116 Tenders For Private Sector Opportunities By End Of 2025
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is inviting businesses, including SMEs in the UAE, to engage in 116 tenders and auctions available until 2025. This initiative aligns with the Dubai Government’s Public-Private Partnership Strategy 2024–2026, aimed at boosting economic growth in the emirate. The tenders span various sectors such as services, consultancy, infrastructure, insurance, outsourcing, operations and maintenance, IT, and investment.
The RTA's initiative highlights its dedication to collaborating with private sector entities and national companies. This effort is part of a broader strategy to foster a strong ecosystem for strategic partnerships. It also aims to develop innovative products and services. The initiative supports RTA’s Strategic Plan 2025–2030 by focusing on operational efficiency and expanding planning, strategic, and investment projects that bolster the local economy.

Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, CEO of the Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at RTA, stated: "RTA is firmly committed to strengthening partnerships with the private sector and creating commercial opportunities for both local and international companies. We actively support Dubai’s business community through a range of incentive-driven initiatives, including recognition programmes that honour major companies demonstrating strong collaboration with small and medium enterprises through high levels of dealing."
Al Ali further explained that specific qualification criteria have been set for firms interested in contracting with RTA. These criteria are accessible via a streamlined digital process on RTA’s Electronic Prequalification System found on its official website. This system supports government project advancement by attracting top-tier local and international companies. It ensures high-quality project delivery while facilitating expertise exchange.
The electronic prequalification system offered by RTA is free of charge. Companies can register by creating a username and password on the platform. They need to select the ‘Supplier and Investor Management System’ option before proceeding to upload necessary documents and specify their business activity of interest.
Enhancing National Talent
This initiative plays a crucial role in developing national talent and enhancing skills across sectors. It also attracts investment while stimulating the national economy. Companies interested in future opportunities can find detailed information about tenders and auctions on RTA’s website under the ‘Supplier and Investor Management System’ section.
The RTA's efforts underscore its commitment to improving collaboration with private entities while supporting Dubai’s business community through various incentive-driven initiatives. These initiatives include recognition programs for major companies that demonstrate strong collaboration with SMEs.
