RTA Digital Revenue Reaches AED 3.7 Billion

The RTA has introduced an upgraded Mahboob Chatbot, now enhanced with ChatGPT technology, as part of its strategy to automate services and improve AI capabilities. This chatbot provides advanced responses while ensuring user data protection. Additionally, the next generation of smart kiosks was developed to deliver services more efficiently and quickly.

An updated version of the RTA Dubai app was launched, offering a unified platform for various services. This update includes an AI-powered parking prediction feature covering 190,000 locations and an NFC-based nol top-up service for instant balance updates without needing to visit public transport stations or use a reader device.

The Dubai Drive app introduced a vehicle plate transfer service that reduces the need for visits to service centres and shortens transaction times. It also allows login through UAE PASS, eliminating the need for an RTA account and ensuring secure access to services.

The S’hail app was updated to include diverse services such as activating bicycle and e-scooter lanes, displaying taxi stand locations, and adding event information in collaboration with the Department of Economy and Tourism. A QR code feature for journey planning was also added, with 18 million journeys planned through the app in 2023.

New Initiatives and Service Integration

RTA activated the first phase of its 360 Services initiative on its official website by launching 63 new services including fine payments, marine transport rentals, commercial shop rentals, and developing the "Invest with RTA" platform for investors to review current contracts.

On joint digital channels with Dubai Government via the Dubai Now app, two experiences were developed under the "City Experiences" initiative: Vehicle Driving Experience (three services) and Vehicle Registration Renewal Experience (two services). Additionally, RTA integrated its services on this app with private insurance providers for a seamless experience.

Furthermore, RTA developed eleven services within the Emirati Package under the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs along with seven services on the Dubai Now app as part of their plan for joint channels under the 360 Services initiative.

The introduction of these technological advancements reflects RTA's commitment to enhancing operational efficiency while improving customer satisfaction across its platforms.
