Ras Al Khaimah Government Introduces Golden Visa Programme For Educators To Enhance Educational Quality

The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) has introduced a Golden Visa programme for private school educators in the emirate. This initiative allows eligible professionals to secure long-term residency in the UAE through self-sponsorship. The programme aims to attract and retain outstanding talent in education, including principals, teachers, and school leaders in Ras Al Khaimah.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, a board member of RAK DOK, stated, "This initiative recognises the critical role that educators play in improving the quality of education for all students in Ras Al Khaimah. The programme acknowledges the invaluable contributions of teachers and is consistent with our overarching objective of establishing a world-class education system in Ras Al Khaimah."

Golden Visa Programme Launched for Educators

The Golden Visa Programme targets two main groups: school leaders and teachers. School leaders include principals, vice principals, and directors, while teachers encompass all qualified educators working in private schools within Ras Al Khaimah. To qualify, applicants must meet specific criteria set by RAK DOK.

Applicants need at least three years of residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah. They must also hold an advanced degree relevant to their field and demonstrate a positive impact on their school's performance. These requirements ensure that only top educators benefit from this opportunity.

RAK DOK has streamlined the application process to make it efficient and user-friendly for educators. Interested candidates should submit an official appointment letter, proof of educational qualifications, residency documentation, employment records, and evidence of contributions to school improvement.

Once all necessary documents are submitted, RAK DOK will evaluate them. Upon confirming eligibility, they will notify the educator to proceed with Golden Visa processing at the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP).

Enhancing Educational Excellence

This programme underscores RAK DOK's commitment to fostering a strong educational environment that encourages talent and innovation. By offering long-term residency to exceptional educators, Ras Al Khaimah aims to enhance its educational offerings and ensure student success.

The Golden Visa initiative aligns with RAK DOK's goal of establishing a world-class education system in Ras Al Khaimah. It acknowledges the vital contributions of educators while supporting their professional growth within the emirate.
