Etimad Programme Graduates Celebrated By Ras Al Khaimah Government
The Ras Al Khaimah Government is dedicated to advancing the education and skills of Emirati talent to meet global standards. Recently, the Department of Human Resources (DHR) and the Investment and Development Office (IDO) celebrated the latest graduates from the "Etimad" Programme. This initiative, in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Academy, aims to prepare and empower Emirati professionals for international competitiveness.
A total of 24 participants were recognised for completing either the Foundation Diploma or the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business through the Etimad programme. Those who earned the Advanced Diploma are now eligible for the final phase of their ACCA journey, positioning them to become certified ACCA members and licensed auditors in 170 countries worldwide.

Dr. Mohamed Abdullatif Khalifa, Director-General of DHR, expressed pride in celebrating these graduates. He stated, "We are proud to celebrate the successful graduates from the ‘Etimad’ Programme for empowering Emirati talent in partnership with the IDO. This programme reflects the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah’s Government to upskilling UAE talent and equipping them with the knowledge and skills that enable them to compete on an international level."
Dr. Khalifa further highlighted that obtaining the ACCA Diploma is a significant achievement that opens global professional opportunities. He added, "Obtaining the ACCA Diploma is an important accomplishment, as it opens the door for professional opportunities around the world. We believe that this initiative will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Ras Al Khaimah’s talent and support the UAE’s comprehensive development journey, and we congratulate all graduates and wish them continued success in their respective careers."
Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, Managing Director and Board Member of IDO, emphasised that the Etimad Programme aligns with RAK Government’s vision for a sustainable future. He noted that it plays a crucial role in developing Emiratis' skills, enhancing their global market competitiveness, and improving accounting and financial systems within Ras Al Khaimah.

The Etimad Programme's primary goal is to boost UAE job market competitiveness by raising government employees' efficiency. It adopts top international standards across various work areas, enabling young professionals to enhance their academic knowledge and earn prestigious certificates from specialised international associations.
