Ras Al Khaimah Ruler H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Meets Botswana President Duma Gideon Boko To Discuss Cooperation
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, hosted Duma Gideon Boko, President of Botswana, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across various fields.
The two leaders explored potential partnerships in diverse economic sectors to strengthen ties and support sustainable development. They reviewed existing cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Botswana, aiming to advance shared prosperity. Both sides expressed a commitment to fostering collaboration that aligns with their mutual development goals.
H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasised the emirate’s strategic vision for international cooperation, which focuses on exchanging knowledge and expertise to drive human progress. He highlighted Ras Al Khaimah's openness to forming effective partnerships as a key element of this vision.
The President of Botswana expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by H.H. Sheikh Saud. The President also reiterated Botswana's eagerness to establish fruitful partnerships with the UAE and Ras Al Khaimah in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Mahash Saeed Al Hameli, UAE Ambassador to South Africa and Non-resident Ambassador to Botswana, along with several senior officials from both countries. This gathering underscored the importance both nations place on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties.
