Emirates Skywards Platinum Memberships Auction To Benefit Emirates Airline Foundation

The Emirates Airline Foundation is launching an online charity initiative with Emirates Auction that links travel rewards to social impact. An exclusive sale of Emirates Skywards membership numbers, bundled with long-term Platinum tier status benefits, will raise money for projects that help vulnerable children. All funds generated will be directed to programmes delivered through partner organisations.

The digital auction is scheduled to run from 17th December 2025 until 17th January 2026, and will be accessible to bidders in every market. Participants can compete for special Emirates Skywards membership numbers that include Platinum tier status benefits valid for up to 20 years, giving donors extended travel privileges while supporting charitable activities.

Emirates Skywards Platinum Auction for Foundation

According to Emirates Airline, 100% of proceeds raised through Emirates Auction will go to the Emirates Airline Foundation and will not be used for any other purpose. Revenue from successful bids will support 14 NGOs in 9 countries that provide housing initiatives, safe learning environments, essential nutrition, healthcare services, and access to skills and vocational development programmes for children.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline and Chairman of the Emirates Airline Foundation said, "This unique auction is an innovative funding approach to connect us with new supporters globally, as we look to scale up the Emirates Airline Foundation’s impact. All donations help us continue funding and empowering our local NGO partners who have the deep community roots and firsthand knowledge to ensure resources reach children in the most effective manner. Every bid represents more than a Skywards Platinum membership; it’s a contribution that creates pathways to lift children and their families out of poverty and create sustainable impact."

Operational details of the Emirates Airline Foundation initiative are being managed with Emirates Auction, which is providing its online auction platform and related expertise. Abdulla Matar Al Mannaei, Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates Auction, reaffirmed that Emirates Auction is committed to supporting humanitarian efforts in the UAE, adding that the company will continue to play a key role as a strategic partner for numerous charitable and developmental initiatives with lasting impact by harnessing its extensive expertise in organising world-class charity auctions.

Al Mannaei noted that the company’s collaboration with the Emirates Airline Foundation reflects this commitment and aligns with its corporate social responsibility to continue backing sustainable charitable projects that make a positive difference in people’s lives. For donors, the auction offers a way to gain premium travel benefits while contributing to long-term programmes that aim to improve living conditions, education access, and future opportunities for children across multiple regions.
