RAKEZ Celebrates Triple Success With Awards For Coworking Centre And Sustainability Initiatives

Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) recently celebrated the remarkable achievements of three departments that received recognition on both regional and global stages for their excellence and innovation. Among these accolades, the Compass Coworking Centre was honoured with the Customer Success Award in the Customer Centricity World Series for the Middle East & Africa.

The Compass Coworking Centre distinguished itself through its exceptional approach to creating a supportive and engaging business environment. It has evolved beyond traditional coworking spaces into a vibrant ecosystem and networking hub. By adopting a client-centric philosophy, Compass offers innovative programmes like content-driven seminars, interactive workshops, and targeted networking events to meet the real-time needs of RAKEZ and non-RAKEZ clients.

RAKEZ Achieves Awards for Excellence and Innovation

A key factor in Compass's success is its proactive approach to gathering and acting on client feedback. This ensures that its services align with global standards. A notable aspect is integrating client input into programme design and delivery, empowering members by involving them as speakers and subject-matter experts. This strategy fosters community ownership while delivering measurable outcomes in client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad stated, "Customer focus remains one of our key pillars, driving our efforts to continually enhance experiences and deliver meaningful impact across all touchpoints. The recognition of Compass Coworking Centre highlights our dedication to creating value for our clients and fostering an environment of collaboration and success. More than just a coworking space, Compass is a nurturing hub for entrepreneurs, startups, and SMEs, empowering them with the resources, connections, and support they need to thrive."

In addition to this achievement, RAKEZ received the Silver Award for ‘Best Waste Diversion/Reduction Initiative – Government Sector’ at the Middle East Waste & Recycling Awards 2024. This recognition underscores RAKEZ's significant progress in sustainability efforts. As of October 2024, they successfully diverted 440,000 kg of paper and cartons, 600,000 kg of scrap metal and steel, and 88,000 kg of glass bottles from landfills to recycling.

Furthermore, RAKEZ’s legal department earned the ‘Legal Department of the Year – Small Team’ award at the 5th LegalEra Awards Middle East 2024. This accolade acknowledges their excellence in providing outstanding legal support within the region.

Jallad commented on these achievements by saying that they are a testament to RAKEZ's commitment to excellence and innovation across all areas of their organisation. The impressive accomplishments in waste reduction and legal advancements reflect RAKEZ’s holistic approach to driving positive change within and beyond their community.
