RAKEZ And Marjan Appoint JLL As Exclusive Leasing Advisor For RAK Central HQ Development

Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and Marjan have appointed JLL as the exclusive leasing advisor for RAK Central HQ. This flagship office development is part of the RAK Central masterplan, a pioneering Grade-A commercial district in Ras Al Khaimah. The project aims to boost business and tourism, create jobs, and enhance lifestyle in the emirate.

RAK Central is strategically situated on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street along the E11 highway. It serves as the focal point of a larger mixed-use development. This area offers an integrated work-live-play environment designed to attract international businesses and top-tier talent. The development spans over 435,000 ft² with more than 882,600 ft² of leasable space.

The RAK Central HQ will be anchored by five LEED Gold-certified towers. Construction is set to finish in Q4 2026, with a full commercial launch planned for Q1 2027. JLL will manage the exclusive leasing of all office and retail spaces within the HQ, with pre-leasing activities already underway.

The HQ targets multinational blue-chip tenants by offering flexible layouts, open-plan workspaces, high ceilings, and advanced infrastructure. Ground-floor retail and F&B options are complemented by landscaped parks, shaded walkways, and outdoor seating areas. This creates a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly environment focused on accessibility and wellbeing.

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, stated that appointing JLL is crucial for attracting high-quality occupiers to Ras Al Khaimah. He emphasised that this development goes beyond physical space by creating a Grade A business environment with smart design and sustainability.
