RAKBANK Enhances Banking Operations With Microsoft AI Integration

RAKBANK and Microsoft have entered into a collaboration to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into various operations at the bank. This partnership was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Raheel Ahmed, Group CEO of RAKBANK, and Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, at the RAKBANK Corporate office in Dubai.

The collaboration aims to redefine compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), combatting the financing of terrorism (CTF), and fraud detection at RAKBANK. Additionally, it will enhance customer interactions, customer fulfilment, and marketing initiatives. These improvements will be driven by GPT-4o from OpenAI and JAIS from G42, running on Microsoft's trusted cloud.

Microsoft's AI solutions will help reimagine how customers engage with RAKBANK. The collaboration will optimise digital and voice experiences as well as call centre operations. This aligns with RAKBANK's commitment to adopting advanced technology to meet and exceed customer expectations.
