The next stop on H.H. Sheikh Saud’s itinerary was Dongguan in Guangdong Province. Here, he explored the city's history, culture, and economy at the Dongguan Exhibition Centre. Additionally, he toured the Agarwood Museum, which showcases oud trees cultivated by Dongguan's residents for centuries.

Sheikh Saud reflected on the historical ties between Ras Al Khaimah and China during his visit. He remarked, "Though our present economic ties have flourished for decades, the threads of our connection stretch back centuries, as evidenced by the treasures of the Yuan Dynasty of the 13th and 14th centuries, unearthed in Ras Al Khaimah by our archaeologists."

He highlighted that rare blue and white porcelain fragments from the Yuan Dynasty found in Ras Al Khaimah point to a shared history along the old Silk Road. These artefacts signify an enduring bond forged by ancestors that continues to strengthen relations between their peoples.

H.H. Sheikh Saud expressed hope for continued cultural exchange and political harmony between Ras Al Khaimah and China. He said, "This enduring bond, forged by our ancestors, stands as a testament to the lasting strength of our peoples. As we look toward the future, may we continue to weave a richer tapestry of cultural exchange, political harmony and ever-more prosperous economic ties."

The visit underscored how historical connections can enhance contemporary relationships between nations. By exploring cultural sites and engaging in dialogue, H.H. Sheikh Saud aims to foster deeper ties with China.
