RAK Ruler H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Witnesses MoU Signing Between RAKEZ And AHK

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, emphasised the importance of economic and investment partnerships with strategic allies. These alliances are crucial for boosting economic growth, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing Ras Al Khaimah's reputation as a prime location for business success.

The meeting took place at Sheikh Saud's palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. Attendees included Sybille Pfaff, Consul General of Germany in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and a delegation from the German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK). Senior officials from the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) were also present.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Germany, particularly in trade, investment, and innovation. Recent developments in Ras Al Khaimah's infrastructure, industry, and investment sectors were highlighted during the meeting.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi between RAKEZ and AHK. This MoU aims to build a strategic partnership to support development goals and encourage mutual growth.

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, along with Dr. Martin Henkelmann, CEO of AHK, signed the MoU. It outlines enhanced support for both new and existing members of the Council as well as RAKEZ’s partners through joint initiatives aimed at business growth, knowledge exchange, and international connectivity.

Sybille Pfaff and her delegation expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Saud for his warm welcome and hospitality. They praised the strong economic ties between the UAE and Germany as well as H.H. Sheikh Saud’s visionary leadership.

The meeting also involved an exchange of ideas on business opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah. It highlighted strategic assets like a competitive business environment, advanced infrastructure, and a vital geographic location.
