This partnership outlines cooperation to boost Ras Al Khaimah’s leadership in sustainable urban development and its role in achieving the SDGs. It includes preparing a comprehensive urban file for the emirate and developing an innovative platform that connects public and private sectors. Additionally, it establishes a general secretariat to oversee implementation and governance.

The MoU also involves launching local capacity-building programmes and initiatives to promote Ras Al Khaimah’s identity internationally. A timeline of key deliverables is included, such as preparing an urban assessment report and formulating Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2040 through broad community participation.

An AI-supported smart monitoring dashboard for sustainable development indicators will be launched as part of this agreement. Workshops and training programmes for officials and community leaders are also planned, alongside awareness campaigns to strengthen Ras Al Khaimah’s institutional identity both nationally and globally.

The partnership aims to position Ras Al Khaimah as a global laboratory for sustainable urban models through innovation in financing, knowledge creation, and community empowerment. This supports both the UAE Vision and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

By fostering these initiatives, Ras Al Khaimah seeks to become a leading example of sustainable urban development on a global scale. The collaboration highlights the emirate's commitment to advancing its urban landscape while aligning with international sustainability goals.
