RAK Chamber Of Commerce And Kuwait's Consul-General Discuss Enhancing Trade Cooperation

The Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, has commended the robust ties between the UAE and Kuwait. He highlighted their successful cooperation, particularly in trade. This was discussed during a meeting with Khalid Abdulrahim Al Zaabi, Consul-General of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, attended by Kuwaiti Consulate members and other officials.

Al Nuaimi pointed out that the UAE and Kuwait have a long history of strong trade relations. The Chamber is keen to enhance Kuwaiti participation in opportunities available in Ras Al Khaimah, especially for SMEs in technology and digital sectors. Several Kuwaiti companies have already established a solid presence in the UAE market.

Trade Cooperation Between RAK and Kuwait Discussed

The meeting also focused on boosting bilateral cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Kuwait in trade and economic integration. Discussions included ways to facilitate Kuwaiti companies' involvement in investment opportunities within Ras Al Khaimah. The aim is to create a more conducive environment for business growth.

Al Nuaimi mentioned that most Kuwaiti investments are currently concentrated in the UAE's real estate sector. There is an expectation for significant growth by 2025, driven by a surge in Gulf investments and confidence in the UAE's stable economy. This optimism reflects the dynamic nature of economic activities between both countries.

Khalid Abdulrahim Al Zaabi, the Kuwaiti Consul General, stressed the deep-rooted and steadfast relations between the UAE and Kuwait. These ties are supported by shared visions and a commitment to collaboration across various fields. The economic partnership is further strengthened by their joint membership in the Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development.

The discussions underscored mutual interests in enhancing trade relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation. Both parties are committed to fostering an environment that supports sustainable economic development through strategic partnerships.
