Rabdan Academy Unveils 'Together We Thrive' For Societal Well-being

Rabdan Academy has recently unveiled its "Together We Thrive" initiative, a significant part of its strategic plan for 2024 aimed at boosting community engagement and promoting societal growth. This initiative encompasses a wide array of areas vital for the well-being of individuals and society at large, such as education, security, safety, health and wellness, sports, cultural activities, tourism, and environmental conservation. Hasan Mohamed Al Marzooqi, the Director of the Corporate Communications Office at Rabdan Academy, stressed the unique and innovative approach of this strategy. It leverages the academy's expertise to enhance community security and underscores the role of community institutions in achieving comprehensive security on economic, social, and political fronts.

Throughout the year, Rabdan Academy is set to organize various workshops, awareness sessions, and seminars. These events aim to educate and empower the youth and broader community with the help of expert faculty members. The initiatives will tackle issues such as drug abuse, crime, extremism, bullying, blackmail, rumors, false information dissemination, mental health awareness, family issues, and child protection. The academy's efforts are designed to promote positive behavior and intellectual development among young people.

The academy kicked off its community engagement activities with a visit to the Paediatric Oncology Department at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), under SEHA - PureHealth. This event saw academy staff and students bringing joy to children undergoing treatment through storytelling and gifts. This visit highlights SEHA's dedication to community support and health awareness promotion.

This collaboration also involved 'Majid' magazine, a leading children's publication by Abu Dhabi Media. The event featured popular cartoon characters to provide an entertaining and educational experience for the children. This initiative is part of Rabdan Academy's broader goal to prevent diseases by educating community members.

Looking ahead, Rabdan Academy plans to host a summer camp as part of its 2024 strategy. This camp aims to develop future leaders by enriching students' knowledge and skills through various educational activities and workshops. Through these comprehensive efforts, Rabdan Academy is steadfast in its commitment to fostering a thriving community.
