Project Qatar 2024, The Country's Largest Trade Exhibition To Commence On May 27

IFP Qatar, the leading events organizer for international trade fairs in Qatar, has announced the details for the upcoming 20th edition of Project Qatar. Project Qatar is the largest and most prominent trade exhibition in Qatar, focusing on construction materials, equipment, and technologies. The exhibition is set to take place from May 27 to 30, 2024, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The event will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and in partnership with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).

The details of the exhibition were unveiled at a press conference held by IFP Qatar at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Center. The conference was attended by representatives from the event's sponsors in both the public and private sectors. The 20th edition of Project Qatar is expected to attract 120 international companies from 25 different countries, along with the support of 130 Qatari companies. These companies include major governmental and semi-governmental agencies, as well as prominent private sector companies.

The list of sponsors and partners for this year's event is impressive. It includes the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Qatar Tourism, Qatari Diar, Qatar Development Bank (QDB), Al Sraiya Holding Group, Nask Chemical Solutions, Imar Group, Aamal, Sahand Industrial Group, QTerminals, Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD), Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), Oriental Trading Company (OTC), Gulf Crafts, and various print and digital media partners.

He stated that Project Qatar plays a significant role in unlocking new trade opportunities and enhancing the investment ecosystem in Qatar. That's why the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is sponsoring this year's edition of the exhibition.

For the second consecutive year, Project Qatar will feature a dedicated showcase area called "Qatar Industries." This area aims to present the Qatari industrial sector to an international audience and promote the products of local manufacturers. The 20th edition of the event will focus on the robust growth of Qatar's manufacturing sector and highlight smart manufacturing technologies.Several sponsors expressed their excitement for their participation in Project Qatar. Rashid Al Mansouri, CEO of Aamal Company Q.P.S.C., highlighted the opportunity to showcase their latest products, services, and technologies to industry professionals. IMAR Group, a Gold Sponsor of the exhibition, will present a wide range of construction services and engage with industry leaders. GulfCrafts, another participating company, has shifted towards manufacturing eco-friendly and sustainable products while prioritizing product recycling.
