Pluto, a corporate card and expense management platform based in the UAE, has successfully closed a pre-Series A funding round, securing US$4.1 million. This achievement comes on the heels of an announcement by co-founder Mohammed Ridwan that the platform has managed over AED 1Billion in spending. Leading the investment round were notable entities such as Rhino Ventures, a prominent venture capital firm from Canada, and Born Capital, which focuses on technologies for CFOs. Other participants included Goanna Capital, Evolution VC, Freesearch VC, and Tiferes VC, all of which have a history of supporting high-growth companies like Brex, Ramp, and Freshbooks.
