MENA-Based PLATMA Joins Silicon Valley's Alchemist Accelerator B2B Programme

PLATMA, an AI Business Automation Platform from the MENA region, has been chosen to participate in the Alchemist Accelerator program, a Silicon Valley initiative designed to boost the growth of top-tier technology startups.

Starting January 13, 2025, PLATMA aims to engage in a rigorous six-month program geared towards enhancing its product development, sales, and overall usability. This participation underscores the burgeoning influence of the MENA technology sector on the global stage and spotlights PLATMA's significant potential for growth and innovation in business process automation.

The selection of PLATMA as one of the 20 participants for the Alchemist Accelerator's 2025 cohort places it among the top 3% of applicants, a testament to its outstanding capabilities and the high regard in which the MENA tech ecosystem is held. Within this programme, PLATMA is set to receive not only financial investment but also crucial educational resources and strategic support from a network of leading technology firms and venture capital funds. This support is aimed at propelling PLATMA's development further, particularly in transforming natural language into actionable business processes through advanced artificial intelligence.

Yaroslav Kologryvov, Co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer of PLATMA, expressed his enthusiasm about joining the accelerator, stating, "It's a great honor and responsibility to be part of such an influential program as Alchemist Accelerator. Mentorship during the accelerator programme will be provided by a distinguished group of industry veterans, including former Oracle, Yammer, and other tech company executives. They will offer PLATMA invaluable insights into product refinement, market positioning, and user experience enhancement.

Notably, mentors such as Timothy Chou, Ph.D., former CEO of Oracle On-Demand and a lecturer at Stanford; Adam Pisoni, Co-founder of Yammer; and Elaine Wherry, Co-founder and Chief Experience Officer of Meebo, will play pivotal roles in guiding PLATMA through its acceleration phase.

The closing event of the program, a Demo Day slated for May 2025, will present an opportunity for PLATMA to showcase its platform to a global audience of investors. Historically, around half of the accelerator's participants manage to secure funding ranging from $250,000 to $1.5 million before this day, indicating the high potential for PLATMA to attract significant investment and partnerships.

PLATMA's innovative approach, which leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence to swiftly convert user requests into practical solutions, aligns perfectly with the accelerator's focus on AI and business optimization. The platform's impressive growth, evidenced by a Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) increase of over 4,000% between October 2023 and March 2024 and a user base exceeding 10,000, demonstrates its effectiveness and the strong demand for its services.

Prior to joining the Alchemist Accelerator, PLATMA had already begun to make significant inroads into the MENA market, with its fastest-growing office situated in the region. The platform's services have been successfully adopted by local companies, including notable partnerships with Commercial Bank International (CBI) among others.

Moreover, PLATMA's recognition as the Best AI Startup at the FutureTech World Cup in Dubai, organized by Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), further validates its pioneering status in AI-driven business automation solutions.
