Photo Walk At Hatta Winter Festival Unites Photographers To Capture Unique Regional Charm

The Hatta Winter Festival, hosted by Brand Dubai, the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office, continues to attract creative individuals with its community-centric activities. A standout event, the Photo Walk on 4th January 2025, united professional and amateur photographers to capture Hatta's stunning landscapes and lively culture.

The Photo Walk aimed to connect creative communities and showcase Hatta's unique appeal as a natural and cultural destination. Organised with fotoUAE and led by Emirati photographer Ola Allouz, experienced photographers guided participants, sharing insights on capturing Hatta’s essence.

Participants documented Hatta’s diverse scenery, from rugged mountains to serene valleys, along with its vibrant cultural life. The event attracted 118 participants, including 73 newcomers to Hatta. Fujifilm Middle East supported the event by providing cameras equipped with the latest technologies.

The Photo Walk not only inspired participants to enhance their creative skills but also aimed to build a visual archive capturing the region's essence. Through photography, the event sought to tell compelling stories and share Hatta's spirit globally.

The festival is part of the broader Hatta Winter initiative launched under directives from H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Running from 13th December 2024 to 22nd January 2025, it offers workshops, cultural events, fitness sessions, and adventure activities.

Hatta Winter includes four other festivals featuring events organised in collaboration with government and private sector partners. These include: Hatta Cultural Nights by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority; the Hatta Honey Festival and Agricultural Festival by Dubai Municipality; and Hatta x DSF by Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
