Parsons Secures $25 Million Contracts For Middle East Transportation Projects

Parsons, Inc. has recently secured two new contracts, valued at $25 million, to provide engineering design services for a Middle Eastern transportation authority. This addition brings the total value of contracts awarded by this client to Parsons to over $90 million within the last nine months.

The company's role under these contracts will be to guide the design and execution of several transportation infrastructure enhancements aimed at bolstering urban mobility and reducing congestion on major roadways.

In their efforts to revamp transportation infrastructure, Parsons is set to initiate a variety of projects. These include introducing mobility and traffic management solutions, setting up dedicated lanes, implementing road improvements, and launching public transport initiatives.

These projects are integral to the national strategic objectives outlined in the GCC's visions and strategic plans, which include Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Vision 2030, Oman Vision 2040, and Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040. Parsons, boasting a 65-year history of partnership in the region, is poised to contribute significantly towards realizing these digital infrastructure transformation goals.

A significant part of their mandate also involves conducting a strategic analysis to explore the addition of a new lane to facilitate smoother traffic flow on highways. Furthermore, Parsons is tasked with ensuring that the planning and design phases of these projects cause minimal interference with current traffic conditions, while also integrating these upgrades seamlessly into the existing transportation network.
