The Lux Collective (TLC), a prestigious global luxury hospitality group, has officially announced the appointment of Olivier Chavy as its new Chief Executive Officer. He highlighted his familiarity with TLC's markets, including Mauritius, the Maldives, China, and forthcoming ventures in Vietnam and the UAE, as beneficial for his new role. Chavy emphasized his commitment to collaborative leadership and acknowledging the contributions of team members to the collective success of TLC.
Before his latest role, Olivier Chavy was the President of Travel + Leisure Group - Panorama, a key player in the travel industry, overseeing the strategic direction and growth of the company's exchange and membership travel brands. His tenure at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts as CEO witnessed significant expansion and portfolio growth. Chavy has also contributed his expertise to Wilson Associates as President and CEO and held executive positions at Hilton, where he was instrumental in operations and brand performance for luxury and lifestyle segments.
Chavy's educational background includes an MBA from Cornell University, a post-graduate diploma from ESSEC Business School, and a bachelor's degree in hotel management from St. Quentin en Yvelines Hotel Management School. He has served on several advisory boards, including the French Foreign Trade Advisory Board – CCEF and The University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Moreover, Chavy is a board member of Sweet Inn and has been involved with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) in expanding its travel, tourism, and leisure infrastructure.
This strategic leadership transition is poised to usher in a new era for The Lux Collective, with Olivier Chavy at the forefront of its ambitious growth and innovation plans, ensuring the brand's legacy of luxury and exceptional service continues to thrive.
