Noatum Maritime Partners With Bapco Upstream For Five-Year Marine Services At Bahrain LNG Terminal
Noatum Maritime, a division of AD Ports Group's Maritime & Shipping Cluster, has secured a five-year contract with Bapco Upstream. This agreement involves providing marine services at the Bahrain LNG Import Terminal (BLNG). Bapco Upstream is part of the Bapco Energies Group, which is leading energy transition efforts in Bahrain. This contract signifies Noatum Maritime's ongoing expansion strategy within the Kingdom.
The services offered by Noatum Maritime Marine Services will be crucial for the offshore LNG terminal near Khalifa Bin Salman Port. This terminal is vital to Bahrain's energy infrastructure, ensuring a clean and reliable energy supply to meet increasing natural gas demand. The agreement includes towage operations using LNG-compliant tugboats, berthing and unberthing of LNG carriers, and 24/7 emergency response support.

This latest development follows a series of initiatives by Noatum Maritime in Bahrain since the start of the year. The company aims to broaden its service offerings within the Kingdom. By extending its capabilities into LNG terminals while maintaining strong port services, Noatum Maritime is positioning itself for growth and unlocking new synergies.
