Noatum Logistics Expands Fleet With Acquisition Of 152 Long-Haul Trucks To Enhance Operations

Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, has announced the acquisition of 152 long-haul trucks to bolster its freight forwarding capabilities in the Middle East. This fleet expansion aligns with the company's growth strategy and commitment to sustainability. The new vehicles will increase transport capacity by 6,000 tonnes, expanding the fleet from around 450 to over 600 trucks.

The advanced trucks are equipped to handle various types of cargo, including containerised, reefer, and loose goods. They will serve customers in key sectors such as energy, polymers, food and FMCG, automotive, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, and defence. This move supports Noatum Logistics' aim to enhance supply chain management across the region.

Noatum Logistics Acquires 152 Long-Haul Trucks

Incorporating Euro 5 diesel engines, these trucks promise significant improvements in fuel efficiency while reducing Nitrogen Oxide and particulate emissions. This acquisition is a step towards Noatum Logistics' goal of achieving Carbon Neutral status by 2050. The company is committed to integrating sustainable practices into its operations.

Samir Chaturvedi, CEO of Noatum Logistics at AD Ports Group, stated, "At Noatum Logistics, the customer is at the centre of everything that we do. Expanding our regional fleet with more efficient and sustainable solutions is not just an investment in our operations—it's an investment in our customers."

The delivery of these trucks is expected by the end of Q2 2025. Once delivered, they will be integrated into Noatum Logistics' Control Tower telematics system. This platform uses GPS technology and onboard diagnostics for real-time monitoring of driver behaviour and vehicle movements.

This expansion not only increases capacity but also strengthens Noatum Logistics' presence in the Middle East. The company operates a network across 26 countries, enabling seamless management of regional supply chains while connecting customers globally.
