Next-Generation Invest In Dubai Platform Launches At GITEX GLOBAL 2025 To Enhance Business Setup Services

The Dubai Business Registration and Licensing Corporation (DBLC), a division of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), has introduced an upgraded version of the Invest in Dubai (IID) platform at GITEX GLOBAL 2025. This new platform represents a significant step forward in digital government services, aligning with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to create a Unified Digital Platform for business setup in Dubai.

Ahmad Khalifa AlQaizi AlFalasi, CEO of DBLC, stated: "Dubai is redefining the global standard for digital government services by enhancing the Invest in Dubai platform with the introduction of 360 Services, reflecting our visionary leadership’s aspiration to deliver the world’s most seamless investor journey through bold collaboration between the government and private sector. The launch of 360 Services as part of the AI-enhanced Invest in Dubai platform is a testament to our commitment to transparency, efficiency, and innovation, aligned with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33 to further consolidate Dubai’s position as a leading global destination for business and leisure."

Invest in Dubai Platform Unveiled at GITEX

The IID platform now includes 360 Services, which integrates essential government services into one AI-powered digital interface. This development aims to streamline investor processes and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda's goal of boosting economic productivity by 50% through innovation. The platform allows businesses to manage licensing digitally, covering corporate structures and legal forms while reducing paperwork.

Rashid Hassan Al Saadi from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation highlighted: "The sustainable development of work packages in the country, including the 'Invest in Dubai' package, affirms the commitment and integration of all federal and local entities to launch proactive services that enhance customer experience. This initiative operates within the UAE's Zero Government Bureaucracy programme, fostering leadership in government services. It aligns with pioneering innovation to enhance and redefine services, establishing a new, customer-centric approach that responds to evolving aspirations and priorities."

The IID platform connects with various public and private entities under the Shared Digital Channels Initiative. It offers a unified digital window for licensing, registration, post-licence support, ‘Instant Licence’ issuance for quick launches, and comprehensive information for investors. This integration simplifies business setup while fostering collaboration between government and private sectors.

Rashed Nathar Mohammed Rahmah from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized their role in enhancing service efficiency through integration with IID. He noted that this aligns with simplifying consular procedures under the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme," facilitating business journeys across Dubai and supporting national campaigns like "UAE: Startup Capital of the World."

AI-Driven Innovations

The IID platform fully incorporates artificial intelligence (AI), featuring an AI chatbot, AI-powered business name reservation, and automated permit approvals. These are complemented by omni-channel support options such as a video contact centre and CRM integration. These features ensure personalised assistance tailored to diverse business needs.

Huraiz Al Mur Bin Huraiz from the Community Development Authority remarked on their participation in IID: "The participation of the Community Development Authority in the Invest in Dubai platform reflects Dubai’s holistic vision of digital transformation...providing a safe and conscious digital environment that fosters responsible interaction and individual wellbeing."

Impact on Business Environment

The IID platform has gained significant traction since its launch in 2021. It has processed over 1.3 million transactions and facilitated nearly 281,000 new businesses. Business licence issuance increased six-fold from 2021 to 2024. Processing times have decreased dramatically from 14 days in 2022 to just one day by 2025.

Saood Abdulaziz Kankazar from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority stated: "The launch of the enhanced version of the Invest in Dubai platform reflects Dubai’s visionary leadership...contributing to strengthening the emirate’s position as a global hub for business and investment." He emphasized its role in streamlining aviation-related permits under a unified framework.

Future Prospects

The DBLC will showcase these advancements at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 under Digital Dubai Authority Pavilion. Live demonstrations will feature AI-driven innovations like business name reservations and automated approvals alongside joint announcements from government partners. These sessions will highlight how IID addresses regulatory needs while reinforcing investor confidence.

Salwa Al Adidi from DBLC added: "The enhanced IID platform is more than a digital upgrade...we are making it simpler, faster, and more cost-effective to do business in Dubai." This initiative invites global stakeholders—regulators, investors—to join Dubai's journey towards shaping future business landscapes.
