The New Media Academy has introduced the Economic Content Pioneers Programme, a part of the national campaign ‘The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World.’ This initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to bolster the UAE's status as a global entrepreneurship hub. The campaign is overseen by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, in collaboration with the UAE Government Media Office and other partners.
Running from 8th to 25th December in Dubai, this programme will feature sessions on creating engaging videos, mastering photography techniques, and leveraging AI for content delivery. Participants will also learn about digital marketing and publishing strategies. The programme involves 50 content creators and entrepreneurs guided by experts from leading tech firms and international investors.

The programme seeks to enhance the skills of creative individuals by providing them with tools to produce entrepreneurship-focused content. It offers an integrated ecosystem that empowers both content creators and entrepreneurs to promote ventures that drive the digital economy. Hussein Al Atoli, Director of New Media Academy, stated, "The Economic Content Pioneers Programme is a key addition to the New Media Academy mission of supporting and empowering young creators and entrepreneurs."
Participants will gain expertise in producing compelling visual content that supports brand growth while creatively showcasing products and services. Additionally, they will learn to use AI tools for market analysis, craft impactful messages, and build a digital identity aligned with modern trends in digital media.
The programme aims to inspire youth to pursue entrepreneurship confidently with advanced skills. It prepares a new generation of creative talent capable of transforming ideas into innovative ventures. Al Atoli highlighted that this initiative will help create impactful content designed to motivate youth towards entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, it opens avenues for participants to establish future partnerships and build a global network connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and digital creators. This effort contributes significantly to diversifying the national economy by spotlighting innovative ventures.
This initiative is part of a broader effort involving public and private sector partners along with national organisations. By equipping talented individuals with necessary skills, it strengthens the UAE’s position as a startup capital globally.
