National Media Office And Emirates News Agency Commemorate Flag Day With Pride And Loyalty
The National Media Office (NMO) and the Emirates News Agency (WAM) celebrated Flag Day by raising the UAE flag at their Abu Dhabi office. Employees participated in this event, showcasing their loyalty to the national symbol and pride in their leadership. This occasion highlighted their sense of belonging and commitment to the country's values.
Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, Director-General of the NMO, remarked on the significance of Flag Day. He stated: "The Flag Day is a national occasion in which we renew our pledge and loyalty to the banner of the homeland and its leaders. It is a confirmation of our pride and belonging to the past of our nation, its flourishing present, and its promising and bright future. It is also an occasion to renew our determination to sustain our work and move forward under the banner of our union to elevate the UAE's status as a leader in various fields."
Dr. Al Kaabi further expressed pride in the UAE's achievements over five decades. He said: "As we celebrate our flag, the symbol of our national identity and a sign of pride and dignity, we have every right to be proud of what the UAE has achieved over five decades of significant accomplishments and successes recognised by the world." The event was an opportunity to honour those who have contributed to these successes.
