The new centre is seen as an advanced platform for collaboration among various maritime sector entities. This cooperation strengthens efforts to monitor and protect the sector, enhancing its contribution to the national economy. Al Mazrouei expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their support in establishing the centre, which reflects a spirit of integration within the UAE government system.
The decision underscores the leadership's belief in achieving excellence through a systematic approach that anticipates future challenges. The centre aims to transform these challenges into opportunities for growth and innovation. It will serve as a national enabler for improving maritime services quality while integrating development with environmental sustainability.
Empowering Future Maritime Leaders
The establishment of this centre is expected to empower a new generation of qualified national talents in the maritime sector. Through specialised training and research programmes, these individuals will be equipped to lead towards a more sustainable future. The UAE's world-class infrastructure supports this vision by enhancing its capacity to lead in maritime navigation.
This initiative marks a significant addition to ongoing developments in UAE’s maritime infrastructure.
