Nakheel Awards Over AED 5 Billion In Contracts For Luxury Villas On Palm Jebel Ali

Nakheel, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded contracts worth over AED 5 billion for constructing ultra-luxury villas on Palm Jebel Ali's first six fronds. The project is expected to be completed by late 2026. The contracts were given to Ginco General Contracting, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and United Engineering Construction Company (UNEC), marking a significant step in developing this waterfront destination.

The development will feature 723 villas from the Beach Collection and Coral Collection, offering exclusive beach access across Fronds K, L, M, N, O, and P. This includes infrastructure and public spaces as well. The Palm Jebel Ali project aims to redefine waterfront living with 539 five- and six-bedroom Beach Collection villas and 184 seven-bedroom Coral Collection villas available in eight architectural styles.

AED 5 Billion Contracts for Palm Jebel Ali Villas

The villas will range from 8,000 to 15,000 square feet. They will be complemented by road networks, utilities, and landscaping to enhance community living. This aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum revealed that Palm Jebel Ali aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, marking a new growth corridor in the Jebel Ali area.

Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, stated that "Palm Jebel Ali exemplifies waterfront living and supports Dubai's growth, attracting investment and tourism." Gheyath Mohammad Gheyath of Ginco General Contracting expressed pride in partnering with Dubai Holding Real Estate on this significant project. He highlighted their commitment to professionalism and strategic partnerships.

Batchu Sagar from Shapoorji Pallonji expressed honour in being selected for developing luxury villas at Palm Jebel Ali. He emphasised quality and safety as key priorities. Eng. Abdul Halim Muwahid of UNEC stated: "We are honoured to be part of this innovative project and look forward to building a remarkable legacy together." These contracts follow earlier agreements for infrastructure and marine works on Palm Jebel Ali.

Ginco is set to build 197 villas on Fronds O and P; Shapoorji Pallonji will construct 275 villas on Fronds M and N; UNEC will develop 251 villas on Fronds K and L. The project aims to create a major residential and leisure destination featuring 13.4 kilometres of beachfront along with 16 fronds.

Future Prospects

Palm Jebel Ali will include mixed-use neighbourhoods offering stunning views of the Arabian Gulf upon completion. It will also feature abundant recreational spaces alongside smart city technologies ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the area.
