Sheikh Nahyan highlighted that the UAE's dedication to books and culture stems from principles established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Knowledge and reading were made fundamental pillars for development and progress by him. This commitment continues under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership.

The UAE supports literary and intellectual initiatives, fostering a creative environment that consolidates its position as a global hub for knowledge and cultural production. Sheikh Nahyan noted that the Al Ain Book Festival embodies this vision by integrating culture into community life.

The festival offers a rich programme of events, activities, interactive sessions, and workshops. It plays a significant role in the national cultural landscape, emphasising Al Ain’s contribution to supporting culture and knowledge. The festival features over 100,000 book titles across various fields presented by more than 220 publishers.

Visitors can explore bestselling and newly released titles while meeting authors, creators, and artists participating in the event. This year’s festival provides an exceptional cultural experience for attendees.

A Hub for Ideas and Creativity

As Gulf Tourism Capital 2025, Al Ain hosts the festival at several historical and cultural sites. This setting offers visitors a comprehensive experience blending reading, culture, and arts. The festival serves as a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas and creativity.

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre remains committed to innovation while enriching the UAE's cultural landscape through such events. The festival reflects this dedication by providing a space where literature meets creativity.

This year's edition of the Al Ain Book Festival underscores its importance as a primary cultural event in the region. It highlights how deeply rooted principles continue to shape future generations based on knowledge, creativity, and tolerance.
