Nahyan Bin Mubarak Opens Air Expo Abu Dhabi 2024 To Showcase Aviation Innovations And Training Opportunities

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, has officially opened Air Expo Abu Dhabi 2024. The event is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until 21 November. It features top industry CEOs and notable guests. The expo focuses on aviation training, advanced air mobility, and new trends shaping the aviation sector's future.

The three-day conference, now in its seventh edition, aims to position Abu Dhabi as a global aviation hub. It brings together key companies like Sanad, a Mubadala company, along with industry leaders such as Boeing, Flight Safety International, and Jet Aviation. The event highlights advancements in aerospace technologies like electric air taxis and advanced air mobility while addressing essential topics in training and sustainable aviation safety.

Abu Dhabi's vision for 2030 includes leading aviation training solutions across the MENA region. The city showcases achievements that establish it as a frontrunner in this field. Sheikh Nahyan expressed pride in gathering at Air Expo Abu Dhabi to celebrate innovation and ambition in aviation. The exhibition agenda features several events, notably the Middle East Aviation Career (MEAC) initiative. This initiative aims to educate and inspire inclusivity within the aviation industry. With over 40 leading flight training schools participating, it addresses the growing demand for qualified pilots due to the UAE's expanding aviation sector.

The Women in Aviation Middle East conference is another highlight of the expo. This conference underscores the importance of diversity and inclusion within aviation.

Sheikh Nahyan emphasised Abu Dhabi’s commitment to supporting tourism, job creation, and long-term economic development through world-class events like Air Expo Abu Dhabi.
